NON PROFIT

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer… Big organisations and business’ hoard money in a bank account that is then used to fund unsustainable projects such as mining fuel. It is time to change that. It is time to put money back into the community around us, give back to the people who need it the most. Dear Planet is a non profit organisation, that means the profits (once it gets there!) will not sit in a bank account gathering dust, but put straight back into the world around us. Be it through local charities, creating workshops in deprived areas or giving back around the world to those less fortunate. 

NATIONAL LIVING WAGE

Currently Dear Planet is a one women show however as the business grows and therefore the team all of the talented members of the team will be paid National Living Wage. Giving individuals a more stable financial support will hopefully allow them to enjoy what they do, feel valued in the work place but most importably be able to enjoy their time outside of work. Spending time on themselves, building their own business or just taking the pressure off next months rent! 

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVITY

Dear Planet does not have the widest of size ranges but in time, with growth and new developments within the sustainable fashion market there will be space for larger and smaller sizes. The creation of a compostable underwire will allow the size range to expand as currently the pieces do not offer enough support for larger bust sizes to be functional. If you however, still want a Dear Planet product and do not fit the sizes currently available drop and email to lauren@dearplanet.co.uk and we can assist you with creating a custom fit piece. 

To say diversity was lacking within lingerie marketing would be an understatement… while every body should be celebrated it is clear that only society’s ‘accepted’ standards are the norm. Dear Planet will strive to collaborate and work with a diverse and inclusive range of people throughout its marketing as well as behind the scenes.
